Biography
Bronwyn Arundel grew up in British Columbia and graduated with a BFA in ceramics from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University in 2007. In 2011 Bronwyn opened Arundel Studios as a full-time potter in Halifax, Nova Scotia and in 2015 she moved her studio to Nanaimo BC. Bronwyn makes functional ware in medium-fire white porcelain and decorates her pottery with images of people and animals. She sold her work through the Gallery of BC Ceramics. In 2018 she started to manage the Nanaimo Ceramic Arts Studio and Gallery, that accommodates a classroom, tech rooms and five individual studio spaces. Bronwyn recently received a Canada Council Grant to focus on a new body of artwork.
