Francisca Hayman came to Canada in 1960. Her early training was in Victoria with Louise Buck, Margarete Nehl-McLennan, and Jan Grove. She later did workshops in the UK. In the 80 and 90s she was a partner in the Side Street Studio in Victoria, BC.
