Biography

Swedish born Anna Gustaffson, was raised in Vancouver.
Anna is an eclectic and inventive multi-media artist who has exhibited widely around BC and in Canada and the States. She has received a number of grants, two Canada Arts Council grants , to support her numerous projects. Anna's Husband, Paul Burkes also has an active studio practice (bronze and wood). When working in clay, Anna often works in raku.
In 2019 Anna attended residencies - Craft as Contemporary Art at the Banff Centre for Arts, and at the Studios at MASS MoCA, North Adams, MA
