Japanese born Takako Suzuki who came to Canada after Studying at Meiji University in Tokyo.
She was a student at ECUAD 1980 -82, studying ceramics with Sally Michener and Tam Irving. She sold and exhibited through the Gallery of BC Ceramics.
Her work was shown in a number of solo and group exhibitions in the 1980s and 1990s, primarily in Vancouver, and also in Hawaii and Japan. She received grants from the Canada Council and the Banff Centre,
