Biography
Zuzy Vacek and Daniel Materna set up their ceramic studio on Granville Islands in 1987. Zuzy collaborates with Daniel, applying her whimsical drawings to ceramic tableware and sculpture. The scenes and allegorical imagery preference pastoral scenes and Bohemian cityscapes. In addition to her ceramic work, Zuzy also maintains her textile art practice.
