Biography
Mollie Carter is known today for her efforts to establish pottery instruction and promote modern design in Vancouver. In the late 1940s she taught with Hilda Ross and from 1950 to the late 70s she operated Mollie Carter Contemporary Design on 10th Avenue in the university district. In the late 1940s, like several other BC potters of the day, she visited Axel Ebring in Vernon.
