Biography

Junichi Tanaka was born in Japan in 1952. After working with Beth Lo at the University of Montana (1989-1993) and then as Artist in Residence at The Contemporary Crafts Gallery in Portland Oregon (1996-1997), he established his own working ceramic studio at Whonnock, BC in 1998. Selling in Vancouver, Edmonton and Toronto. Canadian citizen in 2003. His work was sold at the Gallery of BC Ceramics.
