Dona Nabata graduated from the VSA, 1980.( Teachers; Tam Irving , Sally Michener and fellow students; Jeannie Mah, Bill Rennie and Suzy Birstein)
She also studied in the Shimpo Togei Centre in Kyoto and Kyoriasm Primitive Art in Tokyo.
Dona was was a member of the PGBC and had served on the Board, and known for her natural throwing ability.
Dona stopped working in clay by the 1990s and is now painting.
