Biography
Born in Fort William, now Thunder Bay, Ontario, Donna McLaren received her Bachelor of Household Science from the University of Guelph and a certificate in Ceramics from Sheridan College. Her work was shown at the House of Ceramics. Donna taught at Yellow Knife 1968/69, Huyghe School of Pottery 1970-73,and for twenty years she was the main ceramic instructor at Capilano College 1970 – 1990s. Due to an injury McLaren was forced to abandon pottery and began painting.
