Biography

Judith Burke started studying ceramics in 1957 and started working professionally in the mid 1970s. She is a well respected ceramicist making functional pottery, and is known for her handsome sculptural works. Judith's work has been awarded internationally and exhibited in BC, Australia, USA, Japan, Hong Kong and Canada. She sold locally at the Gallery of BC Ceramics and Circle Craft.
Her collaborative work 'Encoded Megabean', made with Cathi Jefferson and Alison Petty is on the cover of the TransFormations catalogue.
