Biography

Kay Austen's work includes imaginative work in Raku, pitt-fire, Majolica, and porcelain, but she is primarily a skilled functional potter. She retired from classroom teaching in 2011 and started working full time and teaching in her studio. Her work can be seen in the YVR Departure Lounge and she is a well known artist in Squamish. Kay sold through the Gallery of BC Ceramics.
